Project Results
The Cowibor project consists of several phases:
dialogue action with the operators of the organisations involved
illustration of the purpose of the questionnaire and sharing of issues
administration of the questionnaire (and, for pilot organisations, administration of a feedback form)
return of questionnaire results
analysis of results and proposal of a solution
Here you can find all the results of these 18 months of work. Enjoy!
Where we started from: THE QUESTIONNAIRES
The questions in the questionnaire aim to identify the (multilingual) communication needs of operators. Therefore, the questionnaire starts from a precise assumption: identify a few
organisations that act as an interface for migrants in their integration journey and - within the organisations - identify a few operators with a key profile and administer the questionnaire to understand communication needs from their point of view.

In addition to the publication of the results, the drafting of a summary document is envisaged (a so-called “Manual of best practices”) that explains:
the aims of the project,
modus operandi and inclusive action,
methodologies adopted,
feedback and criticalities encountered,
final outcomes and recommendations) in the partners' languages and in English for dissemination in our channels and in main portals and main publications that specialise in the problems of immigration and support for the migrant community.
A key step after the realisation of manual of best practices was the evaluation of the impact of project activities with:
the organisations involved in the analysis and feedback meetings
the project partner organisations
We administered questionnaires with 6 questions to obtain targeted feedback on:
Increased Sensitivity to Multilingual Communication
Awareness of Systematic Approaches
Group Reflections
The results were extremely positive.
The Cowibor project has successfully achieved its objectives by significantly enhancing awareness and understanding of multilingual communication issues among stakeholders. The data suggests that the project's approach, which included identifying specific interlinguistic communication solutions and promoting good practices, was highly effective. The majority of participants reported a substantial increase in their sensitivity and critical attitude towards these issues, as well as a recognition of the need for systematic approaches.
By fostering reflection and discussion within working groups, the project has laid a strong foundation for ongoing improvements in communication strategies with migrant communities.
This will likely lead to more efficient services and reduced stress for operators, ultimately benefiting both the service providers and the migrant communities they serve.
The positive feedback and high levels of satisfaction among participants underscore the project's success in achieving its goals.

Dissemination of results
Project progress can always be monitored on our social channels:
We made a commitment that the project results and the documentation produced would be viewed by organisations in our areas.
The feedback meetings together with the organisations involved in the project and the analyses were a great success: we were able to present the results, discuss together the obstacles encountered and propose solutions to improve the communication chain within day-to-day activities.
Restitution meeting at the Camminare Insieme ODV organisation (Italy)
Participation was high and the practitioners who attended the meetings showed great interest in the subject and were proactive so that the results obtained could be concretely applied to their activities.
Newsletter
Newsletters were sent to over 400 organisations by using the MailerLite tool to disseminate the project results and to make the resulting documentation available.
Some of the documents used to disseminate the results are a summary of the manual and a handbook in 3 languages that can be used quickly and safely to obtain information on how to find solutions in situations of communication difficulties. Especially to understand which tools and solutions can be adopted within one's own organisation.

Last event in Turin (Italy)
On 30 July, we decided to celebrate the end of the CoWiBor project with an update and dissemination meeting.
Representatives of the organisations attended and it was a good time to exchange ideas and share results. The participants were very proactive about future projects that would integrate the methods collected and tested during the project.
There was no shortage of critical observations and remarks that will be crucial in order to be able to improve the future activities of the project partners but also of the local authorities that participated in the activities.
At the end of the meeting we provided PCs to browse through the materials produced and the good practice manual. The organisations therefore had the opportunity to browse through the final products and results together with us.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and thank you to everyone who participated online.
